The modern cowboy still wears the style of clothing made famous by his forefathers. This is commonly called western wear Tombstone AZ and has its roots in the deserts of the final frontiers in mid western America. They tend to dress mostly in leather and denim and there are specific items that a cowboy will never leave home without.

One of the most distinguishing items of this tombstone is the cowboy boot. These are manufactured in good quality leather and are hard wearing. They sometimes have a bit of a heel and can have pointed or round toes. Modern takes on the conservative designs can include anything from jewels and studs to embroidery and bright or fashionable colors.

The cowboy belt makes an equally noticeable fashion statement. The belt is camel, brown or black leather which may or may not have engravings on it. Some of them have studs. They are held together by a big buckle which can be made out of silver or steel.

The overall look of western wear can be seen as quite casual. This is probably largely because denim jeans are so popular. These have been designed with horse riding in mind.

They can also be made from denim and they sometimes also have fringes or tassels dangling on them. They usually long sleeved and collared, but more contemporary and fashionable styles are available these days.

To make their look smarter the men used to wear neckties and cravats with the traditional shirts. To keep their faces and necks clean a bandanna was tied around their necks during the day. More contemporary use of the bandanna is to add a rugged look to an outfit and add to the mountain man persona.

Cowboy attire follows a very traditional model. Western wear Tombstone AZ has not changed that much over the course of time but pieces of clothing have been made more modern by the addition of details and accessories.
