Any top notch photographer will tell you that anyone can take a good photo, but it takes mastery of your trade to take photos worth the pages of a magazine. If you want to become good at virtually any field, being prepared and a little organized is a trait you need to improve on. You do not want at get to the field only to realize that the batteries on your camera are dead or the tripod isn't working. Always experiment with new things. You could capture a movement in nature like flying away of birds or even incorporate a busy skyline in your snaps. Most likely if you keep experimenting with different thinks, there is a good chance that your themes and moods will almost always be interesting.

Work during the golden hours. These basically are the wee hours or very early in the morning. Most good photographers will tell you that at dawn or dusk, nature easily come to life and the light is usually at its best. A good number of landscape photographers only work at dawn or sunset.

You need to take care of your safety. Not even the best photo gallery in the worlds is worth you risking your life. Landscape photography can take you to some of the most remote and risky places you could find. Cliff tops, mountainous terrain, deep sea etc are certainly not the safest places to be at; always be sure that as you take the photos, you do not risk too much. The photos will not make sense if you can't walk after a serious fall.

Try and use a tripod for razor sharp images. Most people may have a little problem maintaining their camera steady for a few hours. This basically will affect the sharpness of their shoots, to help things out; investing in a good tripod is advisable.

Try and improve your general photography skills. If there is any advice you must take is improving your general photography skills. Practicing on several shoots; reading widely about how to improve your edge as a photographer definitely will improve the quality of your shoots. Once you become good as a photographer, you'll see a great improvement in your landscape photography gallery.
