We see our favourite actresses at events like Cannes and the Oscars and just admire how great they look in their outfits. Wearing these great works of art from the top fashion houses, we watch them and secretly wish how one day we can also wear clothes and dresses like theirs to our own social functions. Fortunately we can go out and rent designer dresses from some business establishments that do this.

Be practical before going out and getting that dress. Do not believe that you can fit in a dress inspired by Ally Mcbeal if you have the body of Oprah. Perhaps it may be better to go for a dress fit for Rosie O if this is the case.

Some of us are flat as boards or well endowed, but how many have full bosoms? Bosoms in this case like Sofia Vergara and Pamela Anderson would fill up a dress, so we should not go for a dress that they wore either. So what is a woman to do in this case then?

First of all we have to be proud of ourselves and our bodies. Thus we must look at dresses that will fit us and look good on us, not because they will look good on somebody else. Once this is in our mindset we will have more confidence in the dress we choose and be in for a lot lesser stress and disappointment.

Once you have decided on the outfit that you want to rent then look at the conditions of the rental. Some stores require a hefty deposit while others do not. This deposit covers the possibility that you may steal the dress or it may get damaged in some way.

Once you have acquired the dress then do look after it, for it is expensive. Pay close attention to ironing instructions if any and do not wash or dry clean it after you wear it, this is done by the one who rented it to you. Put the above tips in mind and you can now go out and look fabulous!
