Moving images from an SD Card to DVD does not to be complicated or difficult. Of course there can be some problems but those can be successfully avoided if you follow the simple steps in this article.

In order to begin you need to make sure you have a few important ingredients. You should have a computer that has a DVD burner installed. Next you want to make sure you have the correct DVD. Buy a blank DVD that is listed as R or RW.

Start by connecting your camera to a USB port on your computer. Next insert the blank medium. Your blank DVD will appear in the library or as a separate drive depending on the OS you are currently using. Now its a matter of drag and drop. This simply means you highlight each item you want to move.

Now the next step is getting the images from the media to the computer or to the DVD. If you want to keep the images locally to work on or to email then you should import them first to your computer and save them to a folder on the hard drive. On the other hand for those only interested in moving the images directly to the DVD you can indeed do that.

In order to highlight multiple pictures hold down the control key while highlighting. Next drag these files to the blank DVD icon and release. Once the images have been moved you can now burn it to save them permanently on the DVD. You can also now reformat the media for use again.

Getting images from SD card to DVD D is easier than most people imagine. Make sure you have the basic tools for the job such as a computer with the correct burner installed. Once you have moved those images from the card you can now reformat it for future use. sd card to dvd
