Picture quality is great. Pictures look 100 times better on a computer screen rather than the small 2.7 inch screen.

If you want a great camera that captures action, this is not the camera for you. I hate to see what it looks like when taking underwater photos, especially when shooting objects in motion. It's likely the two "hates" that I listed were indications of a defective camera. The SEVEN items that I listed above that are reasons enough that I would not recommend the camera to anyone.

Haven't submerged it (yet) but have used it in a rainstorm with no problems. I bought one of the Tough cameras a few years ago.

Also, no external battery charger, so you have connect it with its door open to charge it - not ideal for keeping dust and dirt out of the waterproof compartment. Its overall design and build are not impressive. The memory card that was supposed to fit in the camera didn't slide down all the way. In all, I would not suggest this camera to anyone who enjoys sending in their camera often, and enjoys not knowing which setting to use.

It's my second one and now, with the addition of high-def video, I really can't say anything negative about the Stylus Tough 6020 underwater video!

After punishing this poor little camera all summer, I've got to say I am deeply impressed with it. The panorama option is also a phenomenal addition - I have some amazing sunset shots that look seamless thanks to the built in sensor (automatically lines up and takes the next 2 shots for you- all you have to do is move the camera and it does the rest).

This unit has all the features we need and is tough enough for this type of use. I've had this camera for just over a year and taken it all over the world multiple times. This is my fourth digital camera, having Sony and Cannon before buying this one. The camera is definitely durable many functions and options but poor picture quality. It takes super clear pictures and great video. Learn how to use some of the settings and you'll have a great camera.

It's a little slow at navigating the different scenes and functions, but it's been improving with time. I love how I can drop this camera (super clumsy) and know it will be okay! However, I needed a waterproof camera for work, and this ended up being the only one available immediately in town. I am glad it was. The general close-up mode will use a flash, and I've found it works fine to leave it on when taking regular pictures as well. The super close-up does not allow you to use a flash, but it can take closer pictures. This being said, it has broke twice while using it underwater. The screen will say "no connection" when I try to turn it on.
