The Indian Sikh population among other communities rates highly the art of tying a turban. This cloth is used to cover the hair which should not be trimmed according to their religious tradition. This is considered one of the best ways to manage that hair. One should not tie the cloth in a haphazard manner and for the sake of it. It will be effective when it is wrapped appropriately.

The cloth exists because it plays an important role on the head. The manner in which it caresses the skull enhances brain functions. All parts of the brain are stabilized by interlocking. This concentrates neurological functions by creating a hemisphere on the head.

It is ideal to use a white natural fabric. It is important to cover the entire head rather than the crown chakra. This cloth serves other functions including filtering bigots. It helps the wearer detect a person who is obsessed with personal opinion. You should ensure that the hair is tied as a knot at the top of the head.

There are other benefits accrued from tying a turban. All the temples in your head will be covered by the five or more layers you use. Skull movement will be minimized when all sections are held together. This is one of the ways to boost brain activity.

Association of the turban with religious fanaticism has made it a rare trend. Terrorism threats around the world have made matters worse. This has not affected the diehard Sikhs who have upheld its sacred position to-date. Women have a unique way of wrapping the cloth on their head to cover untrimmed hair.

Sikhs are required to retain long hair which works best in shaping the head. You begin by creating a bun shape on top which can only be done with long hair. Pick the long piece of cloth and fold to a width of between half and two feet. The cloth is folded alternately. It is spread around the head by first holding one end with your mouth.

Tying a turban requires you to cover the earlobes completely. The rest of the cloth is wrapped on top as the layers increase. Ensure that the process is pointing towards a pointed shape on the head. Sharp points are becoming trendy with the young generation. A beard is one fitting accompaniment for a neat turban.

The process of tying should be a progression towards a perfect triangle ending up at the crown. The light cloth that was placed on the head is unfolded and tucked beneath the turban. This covers the top and holds all the hair in place. You will release the end held with your mouth and tuck it on the wrapped part from the back. It is a perfect way to complete your desired shape.

There are different ways of tying a turban depending on the area one comes from. Iran leaders choose a white of black cloth that is tied flat and circular. Jewelry is used as a show of wealth or power. This cloth has a different meaning depending on who is adorning it.
