I was chatting to a couple lately and they are what I'd call "natural lovers." They simply know how to love easily. They tease and laugh and joke and chat effortlessly like they could go on doing it forever. It had been inspiring. There was a genuine good opinion on my part for their certitude to tie the knot before long.

But both of them come from humble backgrounds and both possess the young idealism to make it on their own. Awesome. Even in a shoe string budget, I side with them that the bride deserves a good bridal photography, as it is her ritual of passage from singleness to a union that will stand through time and eternally.

This came from them, actually. When a lot of people are convincing them to reserve employing an experienced photographer for the marriage day itself and just leave the bridal photography to friends and volunteers, they could not be swayed. The lovely pair said, they might not have an elaborate function, but they certainly prefer to invest in the photos, including bridal photography.

I could not reprimand them. I would have decided the exact same way. Bridal photography is a tender expression of a life a maiden lays before the palms of her elected partner and companion. Beauty has to be revealed not only from the surface but more importantly from the bride's heart. Again, no trumpet blast, no costumes, no heavy make up is considered necessary. In my style to bridal photography, all I ever require is a bride who has in her heart the confidence, the understanding, as well as the unchanging way towards marrying that one man.

So, a white picket fence, a few green grass on the foreground, a pink t-shirt, and the continual and mild breeze of cool sunrise air brushing against her cheek-- those were all I needed for a heaven-inspired bridal photography in the shoe string.
