Whether it's producing bags, accessories, clothes or footwear, the Prada brand carries its commitment to high fashion throughout its entire product range. Despite the fact that Prada have always focused on producing a small amount of high quality products, in recent years the brand has decided to expand their horizons with forays into the mass market. One of the lines that has benefitted from this expansion is the Prada sunglasses range, and the brand now manufactures hundreds of pairs which are sold in many countries around the world.

The expansion of the range has led to the introduction of a whole range of new lines and one of the most popular of these is the Prada 54I5 design. As with many others in the range, this style carries the large red stripe on the arm of the sunglasses which symbolises its affinity to the Prada brand.

One of the main features of the sunglasses is its gradient lens which allows them to easily adjust to different lighting conditions, depending on the circumstances. This enables the sunglasses to be worn in a number of conditions, not just in glaring sunlight. It also helps to minimise the strain on the eye area as your eyes are no longer having to constantly adjust to the surrounding light conditions, the sunglasses are now doing that for you.

Although the lenses are gradient, they do still maintain a high level of sun protection, as you would come to expect from the Prada range. UVA, UVB and blue light rays are all blocked out by the lenses giving the wearer 100% sun protection.

The stylish and strong feel emanated by the glasses comes mainly from the silver, gunmetal and shiny silver colours that flow throughout the range. The sunglasses also feature a mainly square lens design which is a step away from the traditional contoured design, and gives a completely different approach and feel to the sunglasses.
