Model-turned-actor Siddharth Malhotra has been in the spotlight ever since Karan Johar first unveiled plans for his upcoming movie, Student of the Year. The newcomer will make his first big-screen appearance in the movie. Siddharth Malhotra will star in the movie alongside Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan. Directed by Karan Johar, who will also be producing the movie under the Dharma Productions banner and Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment, Student of the Year will release on the 19th of October, 2012.
As for Siddharth Malhotra, this promising new face has worked as a model before, walking the runway for designers like Manish Arora, Manish Malhotra, Rohit Bal and the international design house Roberto Cavalli.
