Alia Bhatt is Shanaya Singhania , the most admired girl on the campus and the fascination of the three to win the much re-claimed trophy of "the student of the year", their source of materializing their respective dreams. To add on to the cast list, there is another new face to be spotted in the movie, the son of Boman Irani, Kayoze, whose role in the movie still remains suspense.
